We seek to achieve transparent, participatory, accountable, efficient and representative governance of the centre such that it may become an organisation at the cutting edge of developments in our understanding and practice of peace.We seek to ensure the smooth running of the organisation in line with the constitution, policies and financial stewardship. We seek to ensure financial sustainability and the upholding of our legal responsibilities. We will ensure the development of sound policies and adherence to the disciplinary and grievance procedures. We are accountable to funders and other partners with whom we develop relationships. We will do this through valuing and affirming people and the facilitation of the achievement of the Centre's vision by supporting staff in their mission.

We value leadership that affirms people and supports a participatory management style. We value staff developing a critical awareness of the context in which they work and encourage staff development and individual responsibility.We undertake to enhance the organisation's image.
